About Business Development Manager

Our client, a globally recognized leader specializing in innovative solutions in material handling and power transmission, is seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth and expand market reach within the conveyor and drive systems segment. With a focus on excellence and customer satisfaction, our client offers a diverse range of high-quality products and services tailored to meet the specific needs of various industries.

The Responsibilities:

• Identify and capitalize on market opportunities for product development and expansion.
• Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication and strategic account management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute business development strategies, including attending industry events.
• Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand client needs and close deals.
• Forecast sales, manage budgets, and ensure targets are met.
• Implement Key Account Management Plans to maintain and grow client accounts.

Your Experience:

• 5+ years of Sales and business development
• Knowledge in material handling, mining, or the cement industry.
• Ability to lead a technical sales team. Engineering and/or mechanical background.
• Hands-on field experience in the manufacturing & mining industries.
• Experience working on sales projects with long sales cycles.
• Strategic selling and Account Management skills, but willing to hunt for new business.
