Vinod Muthanna is leading the Interim Executive capability at Executive Consulting Group by offering his decades of investment banking and CEO experience to advise and assist organisations on turnarounds, international expansion, offshoring, CEO transition and executive coaching.
Vinod’s experience, proven track record and business acumen are a great asset to Executive Consulting Group and our clients. He gained a proactive risk management and value creation mindset as a CEO over 13 years, prior to which he was an investment banker for 18 years with three leading banks with experience in leveraged finance, M&A advisory, and financial restructuring over a diverse range of industries.
Following his banking career, Vinod lead the MBO of a construction-related professional services firm in 2007. As its CEO, he extensively restructured with an international growth and offshoring strategy through its captive offices in the U.S. and Asia. In 2016, he sold the firm to a U.S. listed company that realised a return exceeding 6x for the MBO investors. Following the sale, he continued as its CEO and subsequently merged two other firms that entailed further restructuring and change management that resulted in over 25% annualised revenue growth over two years. The merged entity’s operations spans four continents across eight offices and over 900 staff. Vinod stepped down as the CEO after appointing his successor, he has since focused his attention on value investing and various consulting roles.
Over his 13+ years as CEO Vinod gained hands-on experience in merger integration, acquisitions, asset sales, change management, offshoring, restructuring, business/brand building, financing both debt and equity, and business sale.
