Vinod’s experience, proven track record and business acumen are a great asset to Executive Consulting Group and our clients. He developed a proactive risk management and value creation mindset as a CEO over 13 years, prior to which he spent 18 years as an investment banker with three leading banks, gaining experience in leveraged finance, M&A advisory, and financial restructuring across a diverse range of industries.
Following his banking career, Vinod led the MBO of a construction-related professional services firm in 2007. As its CEO, he extensively restructured with an international growth and offshoring strategy through its captive offices in the U.S. and Asia. In 2016, he sold the firm to a US-listed company, which realised a return exceeding six times for the MBO investors. Following the sale, he continued as its CEO and subsequently merged two other firms, which entailed further restructuring and change management, resulting in over 25% annualised revenue growth over two years. The merged entity’s operations span four continents across eight offices and over 900 staff. Vinod stepped down as the CEO after appointing his successor. He has since focused his attention on value investing and various consulting roles.
Over his 13+ years as CEO Vinod gained hands-on experience in merger integration, acquisitions, asset sales, change management, offshoring, restructuring, business/brand building, financing both debt and equity, and business sales.
