About the Senior Account Manager Role  

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to work with our exceptional national sales and support team.  This role will be to manage and expand a portfolio of existing accounts while building new business in QLD.  You will work closely with key decision-makers in ICT management and ‘C’ level executives, identifying needs and solutions for a wide variety of ICT whole-of-life requirements.

To be successful, you must have:

  • Excellent consultative selling skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Proven experience selling to senior ICT management
  • Experience selling to ‘C’ level within government and corporate ICT departments
  • Knowledge and existing relationships within the ICT industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently liaise with ICT managers & ‘C’ level
  • Work closely with GM Sales, interstate teams and internal sales teams to ensure state targets are met
  • Provide reliable pipeline & forecast reporting to the GM Sales
  • Execute strategy and deliver on KPIs to ensure high levels of service and account performance

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Result-focused approach with a drive to succeed
  • Proven record of achieving and exceeding expected sales growth and achievement of customer satisfaction expectations
  • Passion for business generation in existing and new accounts
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience selling ICT Project Services
  • Be a self-starter, capable of working independently and managing your own call cycle
  • Willingness to learn, passion and drive. A “make it happen” mentality
  • Team player attitude with an eye for detail
  • Competent computer skills (CRM, MS Office)
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing detailed Account Plans
  • Excellent written and verbal English
